Slowly dusk came, and with it came the rain. It started pouring relentlessly, as she walked aimlessly, without an umbrella, without a jacket, and without a destination.
She did not know where she was. It was a long street, a straight street, street name unknown; a four-lane road of which she did not know where it would lead. A car honked loudly almost hitting her. “Can’t you watch where you’re going?”
She had no protection.
